Not without a battery: they shut down for safety when the grid fails. It's the Powerwall, with the Backup Gateway 2, that keeps your home running.
Yes. Most panels connect directly to the Powerwall's built-in inverter, which takes up to 20 kW of panels and is the most efficient option. Alternatively, you keep your existing inverter and the battery charges from the energy it produces, with lower efficiency, because the energy is converted more times.
The 10-year Tesla warranty requires the Powerwall to stay connected to the internet; without a connection, the warranty is 4 years.
There is currently no open Fundo Ambiental call for homes. Panels, batteries and installation are charged VAT at 23%.
An installation up to 30 kW only needs a prior notice on the platform of the Directorate-General for Energy and Geology (DGEG), at no cost. Only installations up to 800 W without grid export are exempt.
